Cedar Grid has 23 storage projects in its pipeline, about 3.1 GWh. Two are operating and four are under construction.

Projects

Our projects range from 50 MW with two hours of storage to 200 MW with four hours. We site them at substations where storage can relieve congestion and support nearby solar and wind.

Approach

We plan each project schedule from the expected interconnection agreement date, stage spending around study results, and order long-lead electrical equipment once a project’s connection is secure.
